Our view after visiting

Very private. With only about two residences on each floor, the lift opens to very few neighbours, and the building never feels crowded. For families who want a house-like feel in a condo, this is the main reason to choose Canvas 39.

Ceilings are not high. Marketing describes the space as airy, but at our viewing the ceiling height was about 2.45 m, which is lower than many new luxury towers (often 2.7–3 m). If you are tall or love a lofty feel, see it in person before deciding.

It faces a busy road. Sukhumvit 39 is a through road with traffic almost all day. Because the building is low-rise, the residences are close to street level noise. The thick glazing blocks a good deal of it, but during heavy traffic you may still hear the road. If you are used to city sounds it is fine; if you are very sensitive to noise, it is probably not the right building.
